1. How to choose a feed pump

Slurry pumps are generally used for coal mine sewage. The characteristics of this type of feed pump are as follows: large flow rate and high feed pressure. It is a better choice for coal mine sewage that is easy to filter. However, it is also relatively fast for maintenance and material wear.

You can also try to use a plunger pump. This type of pump is easy to use and maintain and can be used for a long time at high load.

2. Optimization of feed speed

When using a diaphragm filter press, there will be one more pressing process under the same feed speed, but the pressing time is relatively short.

3. Comparison of moisture content after material molding

The moisture content can be increased from 75% to 70% through 2 times of pressing to 40~60%, or even 50%, which is a moisture content that ordinary chamber filter presses cannot achieve.

4. Consideration of sludge reduction

Faced with environmental protection requirements and the increasing cost of sludge disposal, sludge reduction should be considered as early as possible. Sludge weight reduction can not only reduce the intensity of operators, but also save a large part of sludge disposal costs.

5. Final sludge, sludge storage and transportation

The dry sludge (55% moisture content) after squeezing can be transported by conveyor or hydraulic mud bucket.

Judging from the results of the on-site commissioning of several coal mine sewage in recent years, with the discharge mud cake of the diaphragm filter press as a comparison, they will tend to replace it with a diaphragm filter press.
